Approach

Having the opportunity to work with the most famous celebrities and athletes in India we created nation-wide campaigns to promote Jio. Besides these major advertisements we held workshops and developed guidelines and asset-sets for over 14,000 regional Jio stores and centres so they could create collaterals on there own.

Solution

Reaching out to 1.3 billion people was the task that was giving us to spread the word about Jio in whole India - from nation-wide campaigns to regional announcements and advertising.

Starting with the launch campaign in 2016 we worked together with many famous Indian celebrities and athletes to create as much buzz as possible for Jio. Directing the shootings from brand-side and taking care of the right usage on-side to increase the number of customers from 100 million after 80 days till over 350 million two years after lunch.

For over 14,000 cities and regions we developed step-by-step guidelines and asset-sets to ensure that the regional heads were able to produce smaller collaterals like offers, announcements or brochures individually, but still respecting the Jio brand language.

Jio is sponsoring many events like IPL Cricket seasons or concerts. We were directing and giving workshops for agencies and vendors to ensure that all artworks were according to brand guidelines to build up a strong brand perception on the market showing that Jio is more than a 4G provider - it’s a lifestyle brand.
